Accessibility at our Churches

We hope the following information will help you plan your visit to St Oswald’s Church Guiseley:

If you are arriving by car, there are designated disabled parking spaces on Church Street.

There is level access into Church through the gate from Church Street, via a path with paving slabs to the north entrance.

Once in Church there is an accessible pew which has been widened for easier access.

An accessible toilet is available through the north door and next to the gate from Church Street.

We also offer a sound-loop for those with hearing aids.

Access to the South entrance of St Oswald’s from The Green, up  two sets of steps with  handrails, through the tithe gate and along a path with flagstones, also with a handrail.  There are also 3 steps into Church from this direction  with another handrail.

There are designated parking places available and level access into Church via the main door.  There is room to accommodate wheelchairs and walkers in Church, but no designated accessible pews at the moment.

All assistance dogs are welcome at our services and events.
